Implant-Supported & Snap-On Overdentures

Implant-Supported Overdentures
A full denture that locks onto implants.

An implant-supported overdenture is a full-arch denture that snaps securely onto a small number of dental implants — no more slipping, no adhesive, and far more bite strength than a conventional denture. It stays put while you eat and talk, but lifts out easily for cleaning. The implants are placed by a dental surgeon we coordinate with; your MyBite denturist designs, fabricates, fits, and maintains the overdenture.

About Implant Overdentures

What is an implant-supported overdenture?

An implant-supported overdenture is a full-arch denture — upper, lower, or both — that attaches to dental implants instead of resting only on your gums. A conventional complete denture relies on suction and, often, adhesive. An overdenture clicks onto implants, so it stays locked in place while you eat and speak, then lifts out for cleaning.

Removable, not fixed. This is what sets an overdenture apart from All-on-4 and other fixed implant bridges, which only your denturist can remove. An overdenture gives you implant-level stability with the easy at-home hygiene of a removable appliance — a popular middle ground on both comfort and cost.

A coordinated, two-clinician process. The implants are placed surgically by a dental surgeon, oral surgeon, or implant dentist we coordinate with. Your MyBite denturist plans the case, captures the digital records, and designs, fabricates, fits, and maintains the overdenture that attaches to them.

Bone and candidacy. Implants need enough healthy jawbone to anchor to; if 3D imaging shows there isn't enough, your surgical provider may recommend grafting first. As your gums and bone change over the years, the overdenture is kept comfortable with periodic relines and by replacing the snap-in nylon inserts — simple, routine maintenance.

Implant Overdentures: Our Process

Financing

Affordable monthly payment options.

We offer many payment plans and options that make your treatment quite affordable at low monthly rates.

If your credit score is average or even slightly below, we can help you apply online with a third-party financing company, and you'll receive an instant decision in most cases. This pre-qualifying approach is a 'soft' credit check.

If you don't qualify, some patients tap a friend, family member, or spouse to co-sign with them for financing. Other alternative options may also be available to you.

Implant cases are quoted in stages with a written estimate. Read our financial policy page for a full breakdown of insurance, the Canadian Dental Care Plan, and iFinance partnerships.
